This 6-month Part-Time Internship at Adidas provides you with a unique opportunity to apply what you’ve learned at university, use your knowledge in practice, and live your passion for sports in our Shanghai for Global Sourcing business.

About the Souring Operations Team

  • Execute the development process to ensure on-time Buy Ready and commercialization process excellence.
  • Execute Adidas standard process to monitor that suppliers and manufacturing partners adhere to Adidas-Group quality standards.
  • Conduct final inspection on samples and bulks by ensuring that finished goods meet Adidas requirements.

  • To learn how to work with teams from different backgrounds and experience an international work vibe.
  • To enhance data, project management, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the various stakeholders - Creation Centres, T1, T2, and various other parties - to drive the development.
  • Execute all Adidas processes to ensure styles are developed on time and in good quality, including checking the desired function, quality, size, cost manufacturability, etc.
  • Monitor that all development samples, size sets, pre-sell, and SMS are produced accurately, and are shipped on time.

Requirement

  • An undergraduate or master's degree. Preferably major in Technical or Engineering
  • The basic knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in Chinese & English (written and spoken)
  • Structural and logical thinking
  • Self-disciplined and motivated, quick learning ability
  • Part-time work experience in the apparel industry preferred
  • At least 3 working days per week, 6 months service period
  • Readiness to start the internship in Jan 2025 with 6 months duration.
