Job Description
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Video coding optimization (including but not limited to HEVC/VVC): Optimize the mainstream video coding standards to meet the compression efficiency, encoding speed, and coding and decoding delay requirements of different business scenarios. Relevant optimization algorithms include encoder fast algorithms, intelligent coding, rate control, scene coding, ROI, JND coding, etc.
- Research and implementation of video processing algorithms in live broadcast and short video scenarios, including but not limited to video compression artifact removal, video denoising, color enhancement, video jitter removal, video blur removal, texture effect improvement, super-resolution, video interpolation, etc. Explore methods to enhance the shooting quality of live broadcast imaging and improve subjective experience.
- Ultra-low bandwidth video compression and enhancement: Explore the information theory limit for signal processing and semantics in ultra-low bandwidth scenarios
- Joint optimization of video coding and processing: On the basis of the standard coding framework, use new technology achievements in the field of AI to study the representation, coding, and processing of video signals, and jointly optimize video pre- and post-processing with coding to improve end-to-end compression efficiency
- Research on video coding and enhancement technology based on human visual models: Combine video coding enhancement with quality evaluation to improve human subjective experience
- Next-generation video coding standards after H.266/VVC, including research on related intelligent coding algorithms
- Design and implement novel video processing, coding, and quality evaluation algorithms for emerging applications such as VR/AR to promote end-to-end system experience optimization
