Amazon's Global Sourcing team is looking for customer-obsessed interns to lead initiatives that can enable competition and vendor capability landscape understanding and efficiency improvement for product development for our Private Label business. The duration of the internship will be 24 weeks starting from Jan 2025. The intern will work in the Amazon Global Sourcing office in Nanshan, Shenzhen.
The successful candidate will enjoy diving deep into data, identifying insights, and developing analysis on a sub-category level or developing data tools for process efficiency improvement.

Deliverables
- Complete the tasks assigned by the hiring manager: constantly optimize an existing data dashboard/ reporting, improve data automation, set up a centralized data repository, etc.
- Collaborate with functional teams such as Sourcing Managers, Technology, and Business Intelligence to help either launch new initiatives or enhance existing ones.
- Deliver analysis documents regarding responsible initiatives.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Support data and technical foundations set up in Amazon Private Brands central development and launch negotiation portal, partnering with the internal intelligence team and key stakeholders.
- Support cost management dashboard maintenance and enhancement, focusing on data architecture construction, adjustment and optimization, and raw data cleaning and aggregation.
- The intern is expected to be the key contributor to the 2025 Vendor Negotiation goal set-up and allocation by building and enhancing a data-driven toolkit to support the Sourcing Manager's negotiation.
Basic Qualifications
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Mandarin
- Graduate between Jun 2025 to Sept 2026, currently working towards a Bachelor (BS) or Master (MS) in Marketing, Economics, Business Management, Finance, or Information Management (or similar field)
- High attention to detail, comfortable with “hands-on” management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Work 4 to 5 days per week for at least 4 months, physically in Shenzhen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools (like Tableau) and scripting languages (like R and Python)
- Prior internship experience in business analytics or related field
