Financial Analyst Intern (Nov 2024)

Your Role

Job Description:

Amazon is looking for interns to perform certain accounting activities in the APAC accounting team. This position will be responsible for proper and accurate accounting of certain business operations and supporting audits. The duration of the internship will be 24 weeks starting from Nov 2024. The intern will work in the Amazon Beijing office.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Support month-end financial closing
• Make sure the proper reconciliation of accounts
• Support internal and external audit
• Collaborate with global teams on continuous improvement projects

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• Graduate between Jun 2025 to Sept 2026, currently working towards a Bachelor (BS) or Master (MS) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication in English
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Excel (including pivot tables, lookup, etc.)
• Able to work 3-4 days per week for a minimum of 5 months

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Good ability to influence others, strong analytical skills
• Experience in using Python, QuickSight, SQL, Alteryx
