The Market Insights Specialist is expected to work with the Market Insights team and provide market research service in support of business development and seller experience enhancement.
Key job responsibilities
Coordinate and conduct market studies and business analyses of government policies, industry trends, seller behaviours and sentiments, CBEC evolvement, etc.
Synthesize market data and seller voices into business insights through the conduct of external/internal research and data gathering to develop informed perspectives.
Dive deep into the designated subject to provide insights and facilitate business discussion.
Maintain a segmented map of the market landscape – both for sellers and relevant service providers.
Conduct a market test of articulation of the future value proposition aspirations within target market segments.
Leverage all market, sellers, service providers and competitive insights, along with product portfolio perspectives, to recommend targeting strategies for the organization.
About you
To apply for this role, you must have the following eligibilities:
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics or other related majors.
Graduate between November 2024 and July 2025.
Demonstrated knowledge of conceiving, designing, fielding, coordinating, analyzing and disseminating qualitative and quantitative research projects.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work collaboratively in group situations.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree is a plus.
Ability to synthesize complex research results into easy-to-understand, impactful recommendations.
Exhibits excellent judgment.

You will conduct primary and secondary research to generate unique market insights, provide feedback to improve the seller-facing products and services, identify potential opportunities and monitor the movement of other cross-border eCommerce (CBEC) industries with clearly written bilingual reports. You will work closely with Asia and global stakeholders to develop insights for key strategic discussions. This role requires fast learning capabilities, a deep curiosity about seller behaviour and voices, and the research & analytical horsepower to offer actionable insights.
