Sensor Engineer Intern (Start ASAP)

Your Role

Key responsibilities as follows:  

• Collaborates with teams in the US and China during the design cycle.  
• Engages with cross-disciplinary staff for testing and validation of sensor sub-systems.  
• Reviews and generates factory test plans and reports.  
• Assesses factory test fixture DFM.  
• Addresses sensor readiness in factory builds.  
• Investigates sensor testing issues during builds.  
• Characterizes sensor sub-system performances in the lab.  
• Suggests sensor design optimizations.  
• Travels domestically to Contract Manufacturer sites as needed.

About You

The ideal candidate will:  

• Be fluent in Mandarin and English.  
• Be enrolled in a pre-final year of a Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.  
• Be available for a minimum 3-month internship.  
• Possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills.  
• Demonstrate critical thinking capability.  
• Be self-motivated and proactive.  
• Preferably be enrolled in a Master's degree program.  
• Have previous work or internship experience.  
• Be experienced with sensor characterization and testing equipment.  
• Be familiar with sensor technologies and manufacturing processes.  
• Have knowledge of production process qualification and statistical analysis tools.
