iPad System Electronics Engineering (EE) Software Intern (Feb 2025)

Summary

The iPad System EE team is seeking an enthusiastic intern to work with us on Software development and debugging for iPad development needed tools and systems. Candidates with good Software programming expertise are required, especially those with experience involved in big Software projects or open source projects will be plus, some level of HW knowledge is nice to have.

Description

Web Application Development: Collaborate with senior developers to design, build, and test a web application using Flask, Django, React, or similar frameworks for automation test management. Automation Testing Scripting: Develop and implement automated software tests using programming languages like Selenium, Python, or JavaScript to ensure the functionality and reliability of software products. Hardware Validation Scripting: Write scripts for automated hardware tests to validate physical devices and ensure their adherence to testing requirements. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analysis skills to generate reports on test results, trends, and areas for improvement. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test scripts, automation processes, and project deliverables. This internship requires the candidate to be in Shenzhen for the internship period, either full-time or part-time is fine.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master's/Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, or related areas
• Good oral and written English
• Familiar with multiple programming languages, such as Python, HTML, JavaScript
• Hands-on capability in software debugging and failure analysis, can develop software and debug
• Understand the importance of data processing, with excellent skills to utilize, process, and visualize the data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of computer architecture, such as MCU, ARM, or X86 platform
• Team player who can work closely with the team members
• Interested in cutting-edge technology and willing to try new ones
• 6-month internship commitment is preferred, with a starting no later than March 2025
