Mechanical Design Engineer Intern (Start ASAP)

Your Role

• Develop and optimize automated measurement systems from concept to deployment.
• Design detailed mechanical systems for measurement and calibration, including component selection and CAD modeling.
• Collaborate with vendors to enhance manufacturing and metrology processes.
• Manage prototyping schedules and manufacturing plans with vendors.
• Support failure analysis and improvements in product manufacturability and performance.
• Engage in new vendor development to expand capabilities and influence.
• Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally for equipment design and validation.

About You

• Possess a background in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Demonstrate strong communication and social skills.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and GD&T principles.
• Enthusiastic about stress-strain relationships, static mechanics, and mechanism design.
• Experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing and FEA is a plus.
• UG NX and ANSYS experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous.
