System Engineer (SW) Intern (Start ASAP)

Description

We are looking for dedicated, passionate talents to provide support for data analysis tool development, and/or test script bring-up for our iPhone products. Our products are groundbreaking and changing people's lives in so many ways. The candidate will have the opportunity to work and participation in iPhone innovation, integration, usability, connectivity, and reliability, and play a meaningful role there. The candidate could also gain the chance to know and collaborate with global multi-functional teams. The successful candidate will work hand in hand with the system EE, silicon, and OS team. 

This person will be responsible for:

• Participating in the design and development of next-generation iPhone from concept to mass production
• Building frontend and backend tools for data analysis, post-processing, visualization, and data mining
• Revealing the secrets behind the data
• Largely co-working with system electrical engineer

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S (or M.S) in Computer science and Technology or other equivalents with similar capabilities.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with dataset libraries like NumPy and Pandas
• Experiences in databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Be self-driven and passionate with an excellent teamwork spirit
• Positive attitude and enjoy a fast-paced environment
• IMPORTANT: at least 3 months of internship dedication is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Good coding skills in C/C++, Javascript, etc
• Popular web UI frameworks like React and Vue
• Statistics, data post-processing, and visualizations
• Algorithm and/or machine learning experience
• Hardware, Power, and thermal knowledge
• IMPORTANT: 6 months internship dedication is preferred, and starting no later than March 2025
