Roche’s Global Supply Management team within Materials and Procurement takes charge of global supply planning for specific platforms and commodity areas. Focused on business goals, they focus on supplier selection, product delivery specifications and quality. They succeed through their ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with global internal and external supply chain partners.
What You’ll Achieve:
As a Global Supply Manager, you will be responsible for global supply planning for storage and networking. Ensures sourcing efforts meet business goals. Engages activities related to global sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality. Develops and maintains working relationships with global internal/external supply chain partners.
You Will:
Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product availability at product launch; Work directly with suppliers to assure capacity and continuity of supply for specific components and work closely with regional buyers to regulate supplier mix of the total available market (TAM).
Coordinates global supply with regional procurement and balances available supply globally against regional requirements.
Performs long-range capacity reports for their commodity.
Coordinates Quarterly Business Review (QBR) or Operations Review process and manages component transitions globally to minimize excess and obsolete inventory (E&O).
Works with functional managers to perform analysis and identify areas for performance improvement. Works with regional demand teams to validate the global demand and recommend demand shipping if required.
About You
Essential Requirements:
Graduate between 2023.6 and 2024.6
Experience with Excel VBA/Python and Power BI skills
Keen interest in supply chain management, negotiation and supplier evaluation skills
Keen interest to learn global supply chain, manufacturing footprint and logistics capabilities
Desirable Requirements:
Experience with program and project management skills
Supply chain management/ capacity planning/ supplier management/ materials requirement planning data skills and ability to execute demand supply resolution issues
