Your role

What you’ll achieve:

As a Material Planning Summer Intern, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end order fulfillment to improve customer order experience deliver Dell internal business targets, and drive supply chain process continuous improvement with cross-functional partners  

You will:

• Plan and prioritize resources for order fulfillment – ​​order priority, build/ship capacity plan, etc. 
• Drive backlog fulfillment to meet corporate business plan, which involves backlog ship planning, end-to-end risk assessment, execution tracking 
• Manage distress orders and late risk orders to ensure on-time delivery 
• Improve order visibility for customer experience and support order solutions to sales escalations 
• Continue to improve process capability through digitization and automation power and be involved with local or business-specific engagement initiatives in support of broader programs
