Your Role

  • The Editorial Assistant Intern monitors business, economic, and political news in Asian markets, focusing on China.
  • They develop and update Asia Briefing datasets and research complex economic and regulatory issues.
  • The intern creates and pitches content ideas, drafts articles, and cultivates a network of sources.
  • Participation in marketing and business development activities is also required.
  • The role involves working with a diverse editorial team experienced in academia, business intelligence, and journalism.

About You

  • Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An educational background in regional, business, economic, legal, or political studies is preferred.
  • Experience in research, editorial work, or international business issues in Asia is beneficial.
  • The ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment is essential.
  • A demonstrable interest in Asia and its business environment is required.
  • Interest in a career as a journalist, editor, analyst, or consultant is advantageous.
