Your Role

  • Monitor and analyze business, industry, economic, and financial news in Asian markets, focusing on China.
  • Develop and pitch content ideas for the Asia Briefing content network.
  • Independently draft and edit high-standard articles for online publications, magazines, or business guides.
  • Attend relevant lectures or events for ongoing research.
  • Manage magazine and guide production, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Work with design, digital marketing, and web development teams for publications.
  • Coordinate with local marketing, business intelligence, and service managers to ensure content aligns with service requirements.

About You

  • Possess excellent English writing, reading, and comprehension skills.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Hold an educational background in Journalism, PR & Communications, Business, Law, Economics, or Regional/Political Studies; a tax background is advantageous.
  • Have two years of experience in research, analysis, editorial, and international business issues.
  • Demonstrate the ability to produce professional research on complex issues.
  • Work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Show interest and understanding of China’s regulatory or business environment.
  • Be interested in leading a business publication in China and working with a multinational corporation.
  • Reside in Shanghai, Guangzhou, or Beijing.
