Employees have the freedom, support, and mobility to advance their careers and into new roles.
Flexible working opportunities
Family-friendly policies
Healthcare plans
Well-being plans
Career progression
As an Ericsson Intern, you will acquire new skills, apply your classroom learning, and be able to contribute to the networked society. Full-time conversion is not guaranteed for interns but can be the final result for interns who perform well. Before starting the conversion process, it is important to understand the following steps.
Intern discusses long-term interest with his/her manager
The manager seeks approval to enter requisition
Requisition goes through the approval chain
Once the Requisition is approved, the recruiter and manager discuss the offer details
A full-time offer is made to intern
Work-life balance
As a family and true believer in work-life balance, Ericsson aims to offer its people the benefits, but also the support, resources, and tools they need to grow and perform. About you
You will bring:
Master's degree, major in communication, computer science, Electronic engineering, Electromagnetic and microwave technology, automatic science, or wireless communication
Verilog Proficiency: As an RTL design engineer, you must have a strong command of hardware description languages like Verilog. These languages play a pivotal role in creating and describing digital circuits. They allow you to precisely articulate the functionality of a circuit and its interconnections. On-hand Xilinx P4 experience is a plus
Digital Circuit Design Knowledge: Understanding digital circuit design principles is essential. You’ll work with logic gates, flip-flops, and other components to create harmonious electronic systems. Comprehending combinatorial and sequential logic, clock domains, and electron flow through the digital landscape is crucial
Ethernet network Knowledge: understand basic Ethernet network protocols, such as MAC layer, IP layer, TCP/UDP, and application layers
Familiarity with FPGA and ASIC Technologies: As an RTL design engineer, you’ll often work with FPGAs (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays) and ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits). Familiarity with these technologies and their design methodologies is valuable. FPGAs offer reconfigurability at the hardware level, allowing engineers to implement and reconfigure digital circuits after manufacturing. Understanding FPGA architecture, programmable logic blocks, interconnect resources, and synthesis tools is essential
Simulation and Verification Skills: Proficiency in using simulation tools and verifying designs against specifications is pivotal. Verification ensures that your RTL code behaves correctly and meets the requirements
Problem-Solving Abilities: RTL design often involves solving complex problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this field
