Your role

About the opportunity:

You will work as a Software Developer to develop and maintain tools for product development and design. The focus is on Agile ways of working. The team prioritizes cross-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing the daily work.

What you will do:

  • Be responsible for tool development and maintenance
  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling
  • Develop and test high-quality products
  • Perform troubleshooting and user support

Full-time conversion is not guaranteed for interns but can be the final result for interns who perform very well. Before starting the conversion process, it is important to understand the following steps.

  • Intern discusses long-term interest with his/her manager
  • The manager seeks approval to enter requisition
  • Requisition goes through the approval chain
  • Once the Requisition is approved, the recruiter and manager discuss the offer details
  • A full-time offer is made to intern

About you

You will bring:

  • Enrollment as a Master's student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Very good computer and programming skills, e.g. C/C++
  • Knowledge of backlog and project management tool
  • Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
  • Fluency in written English for daily work
  • Eager to learn, self-driven, and forward-thinking as well as very good teamwork skills
  • Capability to work 4 days per week and last for 4-6 months or more for internship

Internship acceptance criteria:

  • Current students - Students must graduate on or after the end date of the term
  • Able to complete required hours - 20 hours during school year, 40 hours during summer
  • Must qualify for hire - Must qualify for hire post-graduation
  • 3.0 GPA - Slight exceptions with manager approval
