Your role

About this opportunity:

As a designer, you will be responsible for the solution design, software design, and implementation.

What you will do:

• Responsible for producing software from inception to delivery on time and quality
• Perform analysis, design, verification, demonstration, and maintenance of these products in a process-driven, team environment
• Actively involved in the establishment and development of software design environment
• Supports sales, services, product deployment, and product management with complicated technical issues
• Produces and/or reviews product architecture documents and high-level design documentation

Career progression

As an Ericsson Intern, you will acquire new skills, apply your classroom learning, and be able to contribute to the networked society. Full-time conversion is not guaranteed for interns but can be the final result for interns who perform well. Before starting the conversion process, it is important to understand the following steps.

• Intern discusses long-term interest with his/her manager
• The manager seeks approval to enter the requisition
• Requisition goes through the approval chain
• Once the Requisition is approved, the recruiter and manager discuss the offer details
• A full-time offer is made to intern

About you

You will bring:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or related area
• Excellent knowledge of JAVA/J2EE
• Excellent knowledge of OOA/D, and competent in design patterns
• Excellent Knowledge of Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA
• At least one Java Web Framework like Struts/Spring MVC/JSF, JSF is preferred
• Familiar with Java Script
• Have experience in databases like PostgreSQL/Oracle
• Have experience in Linux Shell scripting
• Basic knowledge of the virtualization platform, ESXi hypervisor, and KVM virtualization is preferred
• Basic knowledge of OpenStack is preferred
• A good team player with a strong willingness to support team members
• Fluent in written and oral English communication
• Self-driven and enthusiastic
