Your Role
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Maintain accurate records of third-party software components in various projects.
- Assist in reviewing software licenses under supervision to ensure compliance.
- Update and organize internal tools or databases for tracking third-party software.
- Prepare compliance documentation and reports to support team processes.
- Collaborate with team members to perform license compliance checks during development workflows.
- Contribute to routine tasks, such as reviewing open-source licensing requirements.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Be eager to learn about software licensing, compliance, and development workflows.
- Possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Have basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
- Be fluent in written English for daily work.
- Be eager to learn, self-driven, forward-thinking, and possess strong team-working skills.
- Be capable of working 4 days per week for 4-6 months or more for the internship.
- Familiarity with open-source licenses (e.g., MIT, GPL, Apache) is a strong plus.
- Exposure to software development tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins) is an advantage.
