Your role
Job Description:
The Consumer Insight Intern should have the ability to follow market dynamics and identify hot topics/areas that are worthy of attention
He/she should be able to conduct desktop research leveraging online resources and offline database
He/she is expected to summarize key findings into charts and bullet points with clear articulation
Ideally, he/she should have a keen interest in understanding China's consumer landscape and uncovering real customer needs
A technical understanding of research, both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, is preferred
What You'll Do:
Build and maintain the 3rd party consumer insights pool by collecting 3rd party reports and putting together the key insights in a structured way
Attend online seminars, take notes of the key insights, and share with the broader team
Support in planning and execution of primary consumer insight research projects compliance to methodologies, and cross-functionally coordinate with global and local teams
On-site coordination with partners and vendors for research fielding, qualitative interviews, and workshops
Support set-up, and quality management
Support secondary research tasks leveraging existing data/reports. Interpret customers’ data into market insights and future industry trends
Support in providing customer data and engagement in cross-functional teamwork with forecasting, portfolio, and propulsion planning
Support in creating research reports timely and communicate key findings effectively with external/internal team members
Support function/program team review
About you
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Excellent in English and Chinese communication, both speaking and writing, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
3rd year or 4th-year undergraduates or postgraduate students majoring in Engineering, Statistics, Business, or Sociology are preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Self-motivation, quick learner, able to accomplish projects timely with flexibility, and under pressure
Good knowledge of the auto industry preferred
