About The Division

Internal Audit (IA) Assesses the firm’s internal control structure, advises management on developing control solutions, and monitors the implementation of these measures. 

In Internal Audit, the firm ensures that Goldman Sachs maintains effective controls by assessing the reliability of financial reports, monitoring the firm’s compliance with laws and regulations, and advising management on developing smart control solutions. The group has unique insight into the financial industry and its products and operations.

As a participant, you will:

• Attend orientations to learn about the culture, as well as the benefits and responsibilities of being a member of the firm
• Receive training designed to help you succeed.
• Have the opportunity to work on real responsibilities alongside fellow interns and Goldman Sachs employees

About You

To apply for this role, you must be:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree.
• Able to work in Shanghai for nine to ten weeks during the summer.

Training, Development & Rotations

The Summer Analyst Program is a nine to ten-week summer internship for students pursuing a bachelor/graduate degree. Participants will be fully immersed in the firm’s day-to-day activities.

The Summer Analyst Program includes:

• On-the-job learning through real responsibilities and projects.
• Training sessions that are designed to develop the participant's skills and knowledge.
• Opportunities to observe and learn from experienced professionals in the financial industry.

Career Progression

After completing the Summer Analyst Program, the participant may have the opportunity to:
