Legal plays an essential role in the formulation and implementation of Goldman Sachs' strategy, providing critical advice and counsel across the firm to uphold commitments to clients, regulators, and shareholders while promoting a culture of excellence and integrity. 

The goal is to provide legal advice that protects the firm's financial well-being and reputation, assisting various businesses in evaluating the risks associated with transactions and other activities.
