Packaging - Intern (Start ASAP)

Your Role

Key responsibilities as follows

• Manage receipt, administration, and control of inventory for raw and packaging materials.
• Oversee warehouse operations and provide data input on purchased and used items.
• Reconcile daily stock transactions to maintain accuracy.
• Monitor near-expiry items, delivery orders, and quarantine status.
• Replenish materials and track equipment compliance.
• Ensure proper labeling and disposal of materials.
• Implement continuous improvement projects.
• Provide training on standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate data entry for material transactions.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing practices and safety standards.
• Coordinate material availability with manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with the production planner and process team leaders.
• Conduct audits to enhance manufacturing practices.

About You

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• Experience in purchasing and supply or a certificate in storekeeping management/business administration.
• Experience with MFG/PRO, JD Edwards systems.
• 3+ years in a similar role with a proven track record.
• Proficiency with computers and understanding of GSK processes.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and inventory control.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
