Supply Chain Management (Indirect Purchasing) Intern (Start ASAP)

Your Role

Job Description:

• Execute daily maintenance & internal customer services with supervision or directives from LM contributing to the procurement of the Indirect materials and services & IMS system Ariba Guided buying that supports the business by increasing internal customer satisfaction rate.
• Ensure execution in accordance with Company and Procurement & Logistics (P&L) sourcing strategy, instructions, and procedures and convey to target internal users.

Your job responsibilities include the following: 

• You will be familiar with the internal process, and structure, or at least where to find, who to ask, and how to manage difficult questions, including Indirect material-related inquiry and the new system Ariba Guided Buying application concerns
• You will be involved in daily maintenance & interacting with an internal inquiry via the Botachi platform in support of users’ questions from China and all over the world
• You will identify issues, ask questions, solve problems, and improve system & team performance
• You will self-learn from an on-site job, and take all mandatory training courses in support of management requirements
• You will mainly report to the Global Tool Manager but as needed provide reports and share them with other colleagues and functions

About You

To apply for this role, you need to have the following eligibility criteria: 

• You hold college or university students. Bachelor’s or master’s degree, but not essential
• Hands-on SCM experience or customer services, chatbot experience a plus
• Experience in SAP S4/HANA, Ariba Guided Buying / Skillful for handling various systems a plus
• Moderate relationship managing skills
• Fast Learners in order to take up daily tasks independently asap
• Need to access systems like Botachi, SAP Ariba Guided Buying, and so on, it is needed to sign an NDA- Non-Disclosure Agreement with Hitachi Energy
• Need to support SCM Indirect team internal Semi-A.I. platform daily maintenance and continuous improvement program
• You can work from home or school (if really required)
• Fluent in English; Self-starter, fast learner, embrace new knowledge
