Your Role
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Measure and predict the fundamental physical properties of materials and mixtures.
- Support the refrigerant R&D team with physical property-related requests.
- Manage daily operations and analyses in the thermal physical property lab.
- Test the thermophysical properties of new refrigerants and blends, establishing a database as needed.
- Develop property packages for new refrigerants.
- Provide test data analysis and summary reports to test owners.
- Expand lab capabilities to meet the unique needs of refrigerant R&D teams in Asia.
- File patents to protect research results.
- Adhere to lab 5S & HSE requirements, prioritizing safety.
- Follow procedures for sample handling, LIMS, and CIS.
- Maintain order in assigned lab space and equipment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Familiarity with experimental measurement of thermophysical properties of refrigerants, such as density and viscosity.
- A Master's degree in engineering thermophysics or physical chemistry, with a focus on engineering or chemical thermodynamics.
- Knowledge of flammability and compatibility is preferred.
- A passion for learning new skills.
- Strong communication skills, patience, teamwork spirit, customer focus, and result orientation.
- Strong execution and independent working capabilities.
