Data Analytics Intern (Start ASAP)

Your Role

Key responsibilities as follows:  

• Responsible for tracking the business status of HSBC Retail Banking and HSBC Brokerage, and evaluating the effectiveness of online and offline activities.  
• Report development and automation.  
• Label building and customer analysis.  
• Scraping and external data collection.  
• Digital platform operation analysis.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:  

• A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related fields.  
• Proficiency in English, with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills; CET-6 is preferred.  
• Familiarity with data analysis tools or languages such as Python, R, SAS, and SQL.  
• Knowledge of data modeling and analysis methods, including customer recommendations, social networks, and natural language processing.  
• Experience with data visualization tools like Qlik and QuickBI is preferred.  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud and AWS, with experience in analytical modeling in cloud environments preferred.  
• Understanding of machine learning theory and practical experience.  
• Open source contributions on GitHub are a plus.  
• Strong professional knowledge, learning ability, and a passion for challenges.  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
