• Intel's Sales and Marketing (SMG) organization works with global customers and partners to solve critical business problems with Intel-based technology solutions.

• The operations team focuses on forecasting, driving alignment with factory production, and delivering efficiency tools and the marketing capability drives demand and localized marketing in locations around the globe.
• The sales force navigates a complex partner and customer ecosystem while shaping product roadmaps, driving value for the customers, and collaborating to harness emerging technology trends to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Job Description:

• Intel is now looking for an AI/CV Research & Development Intern. The intern in this role will work and develop state-of-the-art techniques in deep learning, computer vision, machine learning, and data analytics, and perform in-depth analysis and optimization to ensure the best possible performance on the CPU/GPU hardware platform.
• He/she will also be supporting the production team on the new technology study, prototyping for new product concept and some of the related operation activities.

About you

Qualifications:

• M.S./Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent fundamental research background and demonstrated record of innovation in the theory of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, or related areas.
• Strong familiarity with neural network training & model compression workflow.
• Strong professional software development experience and familiarity with modern Python and C++.
• Rich experience in object detection/human pose estimation projects is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
