Your Role
Key responsibilities as follows:
- Performs physical design implementation of custom IP and SoC designs from RTL to GDS.
- Conducts all aspects of the physical design flow, including synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, and more.
- Conducts verification and signoff, including formal equivalence verification and static timing analysis.
- Analyzes results and recommends solutions for current and future product architecture.
- Possess expertise in structural and physical design, including timing closure and multiple power domain analysis.
- Optimizes design to improve product-level parameters such as power, frequency, and area.
- Participates in the development and improvement of physical design methodologies and flow automation.
About You
Ideal candidates will have:
- MS or PhD in Microelectronics Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Excellent scripting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and work well in teams across different geographies and cultures.
- Knowledge of silicon backend design is preferred.
- Experience in chip integration, netlist generation, synthesis, formal verification, and timing closure is a plus.
