Your role

The team is responsible for building various security IP hardware for NVIDIA GPU and Tegra SOC. NVIDIA is looking for creative and talented master's or PhD students with security/crypto backgrounds to join the summer internship program in research of world-class security IPs (PQC/PUF direction). As an architect in security IP, you will be able to work together with world-class security architects in the industry to explore solutions for the next generation of security/crypto IP.

What you'll be doing:

• Learn the architecture of the current design
• Work closely with senior arch to understand the requirements and challenges, research & evaluate different solutions, and finally come up with a solution proposal to meet all requirements
• Develop models, RTL, and tests, to validate your proposal

Training & development

A key part of NVIDIA's strength is its proprietary internal tools for the visualization, analysis, debugging, and verification of tests and applications on various functional and performance simulations of future chips. NVIDIA is continuously pushing the envelope and needs the next generation of tools to enable the next generation of chips. These tools are used by hundreds of engineers worldwide.

About you

What NVIDIA needs to see:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in computer security, cryptography, and relevant or equivalent majors are welcome.
• Knowledge of PQC or PUF is a plus
• C programming and debugging skills
• Perl/Python scripting experience would be very useful
• Enthusiastic and self-starter with strong communication skills
