Your role

About the Team:

You are a part of the Philips Grooming & Beauty, Philips Innovation Centre (PIC) delivers innovative consumer products for personal well-being. You will be part of the energetic G&B PIC Procurement team and report to the G&B procurement business partner in China.

Job Description:

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

• Gain hands-on experience in supplier management and sourcing activities
• Learn the Lean concepts and participate in the Lean transition for the G&B procurement team
• Build up sustainability knowledge and experience
• Work with a nice team

You are responsible for:

• Support lean transition for the procurement team, e.g. create and maintain daily management & priority dashboard
• Participate in supplier scouting activities (including NDA arrangements, data collection & analytics)
• Facilitate local procurement sustainability initiatives
• Support supplier contracting and communications
• Coordinate procurement workshops/events

About you

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:

• Undergraduate or post-graduate University student preferably with a commercial, science, or engineering background
• Procurement experience is a plus
• Project management experience is a plus
• Willing to learn
• Good communication skills
• Good MS Office skills such as Excel, PowerPoint
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
