Your role

Purpose:

  • Support the HPM China product sourcing engineering team (responsible for supplier selection and meeting with NPI target of cost, quality, and performance during I2M business flow) in multiple areas, focused on Competition analysis, China local supplier base introduction process, BOM cost management and improving the supply robustness domain.

Your role:

  • Competitor Product Analysis including competition research and benchmarking to support China's local NPI projects.
  • Support for selected projects in C-BOM Risk Analysis including analysis on e-component longevity risk and healthiness on staying with preferred industrial technology roadmap.
  • Development of Local Supplier Base including supplier change, supplier-related process, and execution.
  • Support on NPI Product BOM Cost and Roadmap Management (RFQ refreshment, Terms and Condition optimization)

Your team

  • You will be part of the product sourcing engineering team in the category of Hospital Patient Monitor China, which consists of value and performance segment product development and sustaining and global premium portfolio China localization. Philips is a global leader in the patient monitoring business. The China PSE team is responsible for all product development under PDLM and complicated MLD, starting with competition benchmarking, supply base mapping, supplier early involvement and selection, BOM management in terms of cost optimization, quality release, and supplier term and conditions agreement. The team needs support to enable the success of a first-time right competitive product launch on time.

About you

  • Fluency in English (verbal & written)
  • Fast learner, with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Proactive and solution-oriented
  • Passion for interaction with people, ability to work with people of different seniority and backgrounds.
  • Good communication, ability to convey messages in a convincing manner.
  • Able to work in a complex international matrix organization. Hands-on mentality, good at managing projects.
