Technical Writer (Start ASAP)

Your Role

Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Create user manuals for different product categories within Philips Personal Health.
• Collaborate with Innovation, Engineering, Product Research, and Marketing to convert input into clear English user manuals and digital content.
• Utilize existing texts and images to develop new media content.
• Co-create online support pages with the Consumer Care team by providing knowledge articles and post-purchase user content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of user manual artwork and uploading to the Philips website.
• Maintain professionalism in work-related contacts.
• Write user manual texts following guidelines and style guides.
• Ensure compliance with international legal standards.
• Manage external contacts, including illustrators, translation agencies, and DTP agencies.
• Monitor deadlines and advise other departments on creating accurate, compliant, and user-friendly content.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in English studies, humanities, or communications.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with project management experience preferred.
• Familiarity with the author is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English in writing and speech, with TEM 8 or above CET 6.
• Proactive, accurate, and consistent work ethic.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with short deadlines.
