About the Team:

Audit and Assurance Service is the largest service line in PwC China. It is helping clients to navigate regulatory complexity and strengthen trust and transparency. By providing a balanced, objective opinion on financial statements, it helps build trust between companies/investment banks and their stakeholders, including investors.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

The firm provides a wide range of services to help organizations solve business issues, and identify and maximize opportunities. The industry specialization enables PwC to identify trends and customize solutions for each sector of interest. Each line of service is staffed with highly qualified, experienced professionals and leaders in the profession. These resources, combined with a global network, allow PwC to provide the support needed wherever the firm may be located.

As a pan-Asia practice, the professional staff meets the needs of clients in the areas of:

• Actuarial audit support in Life insurance, Non-Life insurance, and Pension liability
• Financial modeling work including valuation, IFRS/US GAAP conversion, embedded value calculation (EV, MCEV), asset liability modeling, pricing and profitability analysis, etc.
• Insurance consulting work including asset liability management, IPO support, market entry strategy and analysis, actuarial due diligence, business plan development, product design, reinsurance sufficiency review, dynamic financial analysis, capital allocation, and management information design, etc.
• Actuarial system-related work including system management, model implementation, model training model outsourcing, etc.

About you

PwC is looking for graduates from Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, Physics, or majors with strong mathematics backgrounds who can demonstrate:

• Good communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese will be preferred
• Strong analytical skills with good commercial sense
• Good problem solver and quick learner
• Bright team player, who works effectively under pressure
• Keen on personal and professional development
• Be able to work with a variety of people
