Your role

Job description and responsibilities: 

The firm provides a wide range of services to help organizations solve business issues, and identify and maximize opportunities. The industry specialization enables them to identify trends and customize solutions for each sector of interest. Each line of service is staffed with highly qualified, experienced professionals and leaders in the profession. These resources, combined with the global network, allow them to provide the support needed wherever the team may be located. 

As an Intern, you will work with the professional staff to support below business services: 

  • Actuarial audit support in Life insurance, Non-Life insurance, and Pension liability
  • Financial modeling work including valuation, IFRS/US GAAP conversion, embedded value calculation (EV, MCEV), asset liability modeling, pricing and profitability analysis, etc.
  • Insurance consulting work including asset liability management, IPO support, market entry strategy and analysis, actuarial due diligence, business plan development, product design, reinsurance sufficiency review, dynamic financial analysis, capital allocation and management information design, etc.
  • Actuarial system-related work including system management, model implementation, model training model outsourcing, etc.

Reporting structure and key relationships: 

  • Reporting to: Actuarial Senior Associate, Manager

About you

Requirements: 

PwC is looking for high-caliber tertiary students with Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, Physics, or majors with a strong mathematics background, the company hopes you can also demonstrate:
