Your role

About the team:

The Talent Analytics team enables the firm to drive its people strategy by revealing people insights and making sound decisions with data support across Mainland China and Hong Kong. The team focuses on key aspects within the people organization including people data management, metrics analytics, reporting, and any other strategic projects. 

As the HR intern working in the Talent Analytics team, you will be supporting the team members in the Global People Survey to enable the business strategy and growth across Mainland China and Hong Kong.

The major responsibilities include:

  • Provide data or other support during the engagement survey administration period
  • Coordinate and consolidate data from the engagement survey
  • Support the data analysis and development of executive-level presentation materials to facilitate stakeholder discussion and engagement
  • Provide assistance to/ participate in ad-hoc projects or assignments 
  • Work in a teamwork environment and contribute innovative and practical ideas to continuously improve the daily operations and move forward the transformation journey

Reporting structure & key relationships:

  • Reports to the Talent Analytics Manager (based in Shanghai)

About you

Requirement:

  • Undergraduate/graduate student; No specific requirements in major but a major in business, HR, social science, psychology, data analysis, or a related discipline would be a plus
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is essential
  • Willing to cooperate with people from different backgrounds and/or levels
  • Detail-oriented, patient, strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under deadline with quality deliverables
  • Work environment for its people and clients to work in/with
  • Good PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills to enable communication and analysis
  • Previous relevant work experience (e.g. summer job, internship) and experience with data analytics tools are a plus
