Job Description and Responsibilities:

You will have the chance to be involved in the following work:

  • Assist clients in setting up ESG governance structures, processes, goal setting, benchmarking, and support continuous improvement of ESG 
  • Work as part of the team in the Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and assurance engagements. 
  • Provide service on ESG risk management for clients, including climate change, supply chain management and Environment, green value chain,  Health and Safety (EHS) management
  • Formulate a science-based, economic, and efficient ESG roadmap to drive ESG integration across corporate products and market strategies 
  • Work as part of a team on carbon neutrality, carbon reduction, and roadmap setting, conduct carbon inventory calculations and set science-based emission reduction targets (e.g. SBTi)
  • Develop carbon disclosure framework and management systems (e.g. TCFD, CDP) and prepare TCFD disclosure 
  • Provide advisory and assurance services on green and sustainable finance or ESG financial products
  • ESG due diligence in sell or buy M&A transaction
  • Provide advisory ESG consulting services using the PwC ESG Digital Tools
  • Integrated Product Development and Product Lifecycle Management
  • Lean Sigma Management
  • Supply Chain Strategy and Performance Turnaround
  • Digital Supply Chain, Green Value Chain Advisory
  • Support on projects that help to deliver effective public policy
  • Identify, clarify, and resolve their strategic and operating success issues by thoroughly preparing for and conducting interviews
  • Conduct market research, gathering required data,  testing data quality and reconcile data across sources, executing required analyses, identifying issues and problems

About You

PwC is looking for high-caliber tertiary students from any discipline who demonstrate: 

  • Experience and enthusiasm relevant to client services
  • Energetic, passionate, and fast learner
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Good organization skills with influencing skills/leadership potential
  • Flexibility to travel to out-of-town assignments and work on-site
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible to work longer hours if needed
  • Passion to work with different stakeholders, including government, public and private sector
  • Project or research experience in any of the areas of focus mentioned above 
  • Practical experience working with or in public sector organizations ( a plus for certain service areas)
  • Strong analytical mindset and creative problem-solving capabilities 
  • Team player
  • Excellent command of English, Putonghua or Cantonese (written and spoken)
  • Majoring in environmental science, sustainability, Finance, Economics, English, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/ or a related discipline
