Your role

A career within Corporate Tax services will provide you with the opportunity to help clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business.

  • You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners.
  • You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as provide advice on the tax implications of deals. 

Job description and responsibilities 

  • Work with a high-performance team to devise solutions to complex transfer pricing issues faced by multinational corporations 
  • Analyse the economics of clients’ related party transactions 
  • Participate in client interviews to identify functions and risks relevant to the engagement objectives 
  • Design and use spreadsheet models to measure and compare inter-company results
  • Apply statistical tools to establish the sensitivity of inter-company pricing strategies to relevant macroeconomic and microeconomic factors
  • Conduct and draft industry research studies
  • Draft customized TP advice, TP audit responses, TP documentation, including value chain analyses 

About you

  • Confident with a strong business sense 
  • Excellent communication skills with business fluency levels, both spoken and written, in English and Chinese 
  • The ability to tackle difficulties and make decisions 
  • A person of integrity and with a spirit of teamwork 
  • Preferred knowledge of IT including programming (Microsoft Access databases) 
  • Preferred knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Qlik or Power BI
