What you'll do:

As a software engineer intern in C&CI, you will work on a specific project critical to SAP Consumer Industries Cloud’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our interns to have a positive quality sense and be enthusiastic to take on different challenges as we continue to grow.

Your tasks may include:

• Understand existing function features, join regression testing as a tester
• Support software test engineer for software requirement testing and test script development
• Learn test automation technology e.g. Webdriver.io, Gatling, Loadrunner, etc. contributing to unit test, and integration test automation. 
• Manage scrum status and quality by generating project reports

What you bring:

We're seeking someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• University student with a major in software engineering, computer science, or comparable that will graduate in 2025 or later
• Major in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, or comparable
• Solid software engineering knowledge, especially Quality Assurance, Testing methodology
• Experience in automation testing tools is a big advantage
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
• Can work for a minimum 4 days a week for at least 6 months

CX Commerce & Consumer Industries (C&CI) is a new business unit at SAP CX with a focus on Industry Cloud and Commerce, an emerging market segment where SAP guides its customers towards evolving their industry-centric business models with new processes, tools, and business services. SAP C&CI complements SAP's existing Business Suite as well as helps the entire company keep pace with new market trends in the Industry Cloud.

SAP CX C&CI holistically targets the strategic industries of Consumer Products, Retail, and Commerce. As a dedicated unit, it takes a start-up approach to developing new cloud products and brings together the product strategy and Product Management for these industries with all the necessary cloud business functions, such as architecture, engineering, and operations along with the development of cloud-native applications.
