Your role

What you'll do:

  • SAP is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join the team. As a Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting various marketing activities and digital campaigns. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential marketing skills in a fast-paced and innovative technology industry.
  • As a member of the SAP Greater China Marketing team, this role is to support physical and digital marketing and campaign executions. Responsibilities will include assisting in marketing content creation, organizing marketing materials, events follow-up, and providing support for various daily marketing tasks.
  • This role will work closely with China marketing team members on a daily base. Collaboration and communication with Sales teams, Communication teams, global marketing teams, and other stakeholders are also required.

Key metrics for success in this role will be measured by the ability to effectively contribute to marketing tasks and exhibit excellent communication skills when working with internal teams.

  • Planning Support: Work in collaboration with the marketing team, providing support through desktop research, analysis of performance data and accounting, and campaign reporting. Continuously seek ways to enhance strategic marketing planning.
  • Content Creation: Participate in the proofreading and editing of 1st level marketing content, including marketing collaterals, website translation, and video subtitles.
  • Social Media Management: Assist team in managing social media accounts to increase user engagement, analyze the preferences of target audience, and optimize social content.
  • EDM Nurture Campaign: Contribute to the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and tracking of results.
  • Marketing Events Support: Provide on-site logistics support and assist with event follow-up activities when required.

About you

Experience, Language & Education Requirements:

  • Excellent English ability in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Marketing-related part-time experience is preferred.
  • Undergraduate or above degree in Marketing, Communications, General Business, Science/Engineering with commensurate experience in marketing or related jobs.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Passionate about generating creative ideas, open-minded, eager to learn, and possessing an optimistic personality, are essential qualities for this role.
  • Demonstrate a structured approach to problem-solving, possessing a project planning mindset, and the ability to access innovative sources for prompt and effective solutions.
  • A marketing-related major is preferred, and a technology-related major is also good.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in using social media platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and strong teamwork spirit.
  • Knowledge of SAP products and competitive products is a plus.
  • Can work a minimum of 3-4 days a week for at least 6 months
