Your role

Meet your team:

The SAP HANA database Beijing team has a long history of database product development especially for ASE database products which is the data foundation for various big companies around the world, such as Blackrock, Morgan Stanley, etc. The customer and the team are developing and maintaining database features to support all of the customer's success. If you are passionate about building enterprise database applications, fast iteration with quality, and being a part of a strong technical team then this is your dream opportunity.

What you'll do:

• Have the unique opportunity to design, develop, and deliver core experiences of the new applications using Java, C, Shell script 
• Use established software engineering concepts, principles, and processes to achieve committed results.
• Performance Quality Assurance work including regression test execution/analysis, functional test development, test system maintenance, etc.
• Performs simple bug fixes of product features, helps the Developer troubleshoot complex bug
• Commitment of a 6-month internship onsite in Beijing at least

About you

What you bring:

• Candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s degree program that applies to the position (computer science or equivalent proven experience) 
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, SQL, C/C++ 
• Strong communication skills that include the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions. 
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment working with multiple teams across various geographies 
• Preferred experience: familiarity with GitHub. SAP ASE database, SAP HANA, etc.
