We are Siemens

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software

Student Interns integrate classroom studies with learning through productive work experiences in a field related to a student's academic or career goals. Internships are generally one-term experiences, in the summer, though some can translate into part-time work or follow on terms. Student interns may or may not receive college credit or a grade for their internship experience.

We offer a comprehensive reward package that includes a competitive basic salary, bonus scheme, generous holiday allowance, pension, and private healthcare.

As a software engineer intern, you will have the opportunity to undertake the following tasks:

  • Design and implement project functions and write relevant documents
  • Maintain and enhance existing functions
  • Create and maintain test cases to ensure product quality

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree or above in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or similar majors. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in computer-aided design, computational geometry, mesh processing, reverse engineering, or related fields.
  • C++ or other programming skills, familiar with object-oriented design.
  • Good learning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Teamwork awareness, able to communicate and collaborate efficiently with colleagues from different teams.
  • Good English reading and writing skills.
