Your Role
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Interpret, summarize, and distribute regulatory circulars.
- Conduct gap analysis on new regulations and implement requirements in the bank.
- Update internal reports for BOD, ALCO, and regional legislation.
- Conduct annual reviews of internal policies and procedures.
- Coordinate compliance training programs and provide specific training on new regulations.
- Prepare and distribute the monthly Compliance Alert.
- Process regulatory surveys and reporting.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
About You
Ideal candidates will have:
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Law.
- At least 1 year of experience in a foreign bank, preferably in compliance or operations.
- Familiarity with local NFRA/SAFE/PBOC rules and compliance policies.
- Independence, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work prudently under pressure.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English and excellent communication skills.
- Competency in MS applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
