Software Development - Game Engine Development Intern (Start ASAP)

Your Role

Your responsibilities for this role include the following:

• Responsible for the research and development of engine modules and tool chains.
• Responsible for the research and development of engine graphics modules, including but not limited to rendering pipeline, rendering algorithm, rendering effect, rendering optimization, etc.
• Responsible for the research and development of engine physical simulation modules, including but not limited to collision detection, collision response, rigid body simulation, soft body simulation, cloth simulation, fluid simulation, particle simulation, etc.
• Responsible for the research and development of the engine tool chain, including but not limited to resource import, resource packaging, resource compression, resource optimization, resource management, etc.
• Responsible for engine performance optimization, including but not limited to rendering performance, memory usage, startup speed, etc.
• Keep knowledge updated, explore cutting-edge technologies, and provide technical support for the development of the engine.

About You

To apply for this role, you must have the following eligibilities:

• Major in computer science, computer engineering or related fields
• Solid basic knowledge of algorithms, data structures, operating systems, etc.
• Love programming and master at least one programming language commonly used in game development.
• Familiar with graphics, physics, animation, AI and other fields
• Familiar with commercial engines such as Unreal and Unity
• Good math and English reading skills
• Good communication skills and teamwork awareness
• Love games, be passionate about innovation and solving challenging problems, and have strong learning, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Bonus points:

• Experience in C++/C# development and debugging.
