Logistics (Logistics/Material) Intern (Start ASAP)

Your role

About the Team:

The department Audi China Logistics (ACL), located in Beijing, is responsible for a variety of logistic activities in Asia, functioning as a service provider for the AUDI AG and other VW group brands. As an intern at Audi China Logistics, you will be working in an intercultural team within an international working environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Calculate logistics costs for Asian suppliers
• Compile packing instructions for overseas shipment
• Coordinate packing-related issues between Asian suppliers and VW group plants
• Optimize overseas packing to reduce logistics costs
• Contribute to optimizing the overall logistics process
• Prepare briefing documents
• Define overseas packing according to requirements of VW group plants

About you

To apply for this role, you need to have the following eligibility criteria:

Education Background:

• Bachelor or Master student with a major in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Informatics, Information Engineering, or related majors

Professional Skills:

• Proficient level in MS Office
• Knowledge of programming is a plus
• Experience in the automotive industry strengthens your application

Competence Requirements:

• Strong willingness to learn (pro-active, detail-oriented)
• Problem solver mentality
• Open minded
• Cooperative

Language Skills:

• English (business fluent)
• German (advantage)
