Your role

Job Description:

Amazon warmly invites interns who are passionate about deep learning and artificial intelligence to join its team. Amazon hopes to explore new algorithms and models in various research directions and application areas of deep learning together, further expanding the depth and breadth of its research.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the popular open-source machine learning system Deep Graph Library (DGL) using Python/C++

About you

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related majors
• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals(Data Structures, Algorithm), familiar with Python or C++
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with at least one deep learning framework (Pytorch, Tensorflow)
• Have past open-source community experience

Training & development

During the internship, you will have the opportunity to delve into subfields or specific application scenarios of deep learning under the guidance of experienced mentors, grasp the development trends and key technologies of the field, create innovative models, and showcase your results to the global scientific and industrial communities through open-source contributions or academic publications.

In addition to daily interactions with colleagues at the AWS Shanghai AI Lab, interns will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from other departments of Amazon, top professors from leading universities in Shanghai, and world-class experts from around the globe. Moreover, this internship is at least for 4 months and 4 days a week.
