Tech Writer Intern (Start ASAP)

Your Role

Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Update and maintain documentation in US English for engineers and developers.
• Write and edit single-source product documentation using DITA XML, Oxygen XML Author, Adobe FrameMaker, and Microsoft Word.
• Publish documentation in PDF format using Adobe Acrobat.
• Coordinate internal reviews of product documentation.

About You

Ideal candidates will have:

• A BS/BA degree or higher in English, technical writing, communication, software, computer science, or a related field.
• CET6/TEM4 certification.
• Experience writing English documents such as papers, articles, and reports.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Reader.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Basic understanding of DITA and experience with Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience writing end-user documents and working with off-site authors and SMEs.
• Familiarity with Atlassian applications and the ability to read C++ and Java code.
