Your Role
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Update and maintain documentation in US English for engineers and developers.
- Write and edit single-source product documentation using DITA XML, Oxygen XML Author, Adobe FrameMaker, and Microsoft Word.
- Publish documentation in PDF format using Adobe Acrobat.
- Coordinate internal reviews of product documentation.
About You
Ideal candidates will have:
- A BS/BA degree or higher in English, technical writing, communication, software, computer science, or a related field.
- CET6/TEM4 certification.
- Experience writing English documents such as papers, articles, and reports.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Reader.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Basic understanding of DITA and experience with Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience writing end-user documents and working with off-site authors and SMEs.
- Familiarity with Atlassian applications and the ability to read C++ and Java code.
