Optical Network/OLT - Automation Test Intern (Start ASAP)

Your Role

Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Participate in functional and automation test projects as part of the global Test Team.
• Create tools to enable automation test frameworks on Bamboo and JIRA, improving test efficiency.
• Maintain Continuous Improvement (CI) and Smoke Test for EXOS ONT products.
• Develop automation scripts to enhance the automation rate of software features.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to set up test beds and execute manual test cases.
• Track and manage tickets for identified issues.

About You

Ideal candidates will have:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, graduating in 2025 or 2026.
• Availability for a 6-month or longer internship.
• Major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of telecommunication protocols like TCP/IP.
• Proficiency in Linux.
• A strong desire to test software and learn new technologies.
• Preferred experience with Python, Java, or data structures.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivation, persistence, and a team-oriented mindset with innovative ideas.
• Ability to learn quickly with minimal mentoring.
