Your Role
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Learn and adhere to the engineering development process and skillset.
- Perform mechanical engineering tasks such as 3D layout, assembly, testing, and production support.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on design activities.
- Work with tooling vendors to ensure Design For Manufacturing.
- Support and conduct engineering verification efforts, identifying and reporting defects via Jira.
- Create and update mechanical documentation, BOMs, and 2D drawings.
- Maintain a pool of commonly used parts.
- Analyze problems using advanced tools.
- Engage in on-the-job learning to become a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer.
About You
Ideal candidates will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering.
- A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and mechanics.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and proficiency in Creo.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
- A team player attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- The ability to take on new challenges and tackle unfamiliar tasks.
- Creativity and innovation to meet customer requirements and improve performance, quality, and cost.
- Availability to commit to at least three continuous working days per week prior to graduation.
