Your Role
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Investigates new and emerging technologies, innovations, and opportunities in advanced materials to enhance company knowledge.
- Filters and assesses the feasibility of concepts, conducting proof of concept and implementing development in a cost-efficient and timely manner.
- Supports new product development and conducts chemical research related to new materials.
- Document research in internal reports, patent disclosures, and external publications.
- Stays updated with technological developments through trade shows, university collaborations, and training sessions.
About You
Ideal candidates will have:
- A Doctor of Philosophy in Science degree in a relevant discipline (chemistry, materials science, polymer science & engineering, etc.), though a Master’s degree will also be considered.
- Strong enthusiasm for innovation in cutting-edge technology.
- Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in organic and polymer synthesis.
- A strong interest in polymer applications such as semiconductors and packaging.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Positive, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with good troubleshooting abilities.
