About Tax

Tax and regulatory issues are on top of the minds of many companies operating around the world today. As a tax professional, you will help organizations and individuals maximize their tax efficiency and manage their tax risks. You achieve this through the advice you give your clients on how to conduct proper tax planning, and helping your clients to fully meet their tax compliance obligations.

About People & Organization

People & Organization (“P&O") is part of the tax team at PwC with experienced tax professionals specializing in advising enterprises and individuals in the U.S., Hong Kong, and China personal tax areas.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in their individual income tax compliance obligations, including preparation of individual income tax computations and returns, and handling correspondence with the respective tax authorities
  • Advise on tax considerations in individual income tax efficiency planning
  • Advise on reward and employment-related matters
  • Works with high net-worth individuals and their family office
  • Maintain client relationship (maintain daily communication with client and respond to client's request in a timely manner).

Reporting structure and key relationships:

  • Reporting to Tax Manager or Senior Manager

About You

To apply for this role, you need to have the following eligibility criteria: 

  • A recognized university degree
  • Qualified member of a professional accounting body would be an advantage
  • Relevant tax experience in a similar working environment would be a plus
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident with a strong business sense
  • Strong analytical skills and organizing skills
  • Good project management skills
